Battronics @ iBAT Assembly

01.06.2026

On 27 May 2026, Battronics AG participated in the iBAT Workshop – Automation and Robotics, organised by the Swiss Battery Association (iBAT) and hosted at Bruker Switzerland AG in Fällanden, Switzerland.

Representing Battronics, Michael Hess attended the event, which brought together academic and industrial stakeholders to discuss recent developments in automation, robotics, quality control, battery production, and circularity across the battery value chain.

The morning seminar featured presentations from members of the Swiss iBAT Association covering topics such as automated battery research and quality control, battery dismantling, voltage noise analysis for self-discharge measurements, and flexible automation in battery manufacturing.

The networking lunch and site tour provided an opportunity to exchange knowledge with representatives from Swiss research organisations, industry partners, and several Horizon Europe projects, including SOLiD and HIDDEN. These discussions fostered connections within the European battery innovation ecosystem and facilitated the exchange of experiences related to ongoing research and technological developments.

Battronics’ participation reflects the project’s commitment to engaging with the wider battery research and innovation community, strengthening collaboration opportunities, and keeping abreast of emerging technological trends relevant to advanced battery technologies.
