MaaSiveTwin 4th Consortium Meeting Hosted by the Technical University of Crete
The 4th MaaSiveTwin Consortium Meeting took place on 20 July 2026 at the Technical University of Crete (TUC) in Chania, bringing together project partners to review the progress achieved during the reporting period and coordinate the next phases of the project.

During the meeting, each consortium partner presented the latest developments, results, and ongoing activities within their respective work packages. The presentations covered technical progress across the project’s research and innovation activities, fostering constructive discussions, knowledge exchange, and alignment on upcoming milestones and collaborative actions.

Following the meeting sessions, participants were given the opportunity to visit several of TUC’s research laboratories, showcasing the University’s multidisciplinary research infrastructure supporting mineral resources engineering and digital innovation. The lab tour included the Management of Mining/Metallurgical Wastes and Rehabilitation of Contaminated Soils Laboratory, the Ore Processing Laboratory, the Ceramics and Glass Technology Laboratory, and SenseLab, TUC’s internationally recognised research group specialising in spatial informatics, remote sensing, image processing, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and Earth observation technologies.

The meeting provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen collaboration among consortium partners, exchange expertise across disciplines, and reinforce MaaSiveTwin’s shared vision of developing innovative AI-driven solutions for resilient and sustainable critical raw material supply chains.
