At the IESA 2026 conference (14–16 April 2026), a digital transformation summit, MaaSiveTwin was presented by Battronics’ Michael Hess and Ellen Piel. The conference brought together sister projects as an opportunity to exchange knowledge and ideas, and to enhance collaboration within our established ecosystem (NARRATE, MaaSive), alongside additional sister and related initiatives (MaaSAI, Laser4MaaS, DMaaSt).
Dr. Hess’s presentation highlighted recent results from MaaSiveTwin’s deterministic modelling, which tracks the lithium-based battery supply chain. The findings revealed key cost and profitability trends, emphasizing the need for targeted measures to make battery recycling more cost-effective, scalable, and accessible.
